For their first ever trip to Pakistan, the Prince William and Kate Middleton arrived in Islamabad on Monday. The Duke and Duchess were received by the Foreign Minister of the country and are even supposed to meet PM Imran Khan. Keeping up with the dress code of the country, Kate kept it demure and minimal in a covered outfit as she stepped out of the plane.
The mother of 3 picked out an aqua blue ombre dress by Catherine Walker, one of her go-to designers for all occasions. The full-sleeve a-line anarkali dress was in aqua blue and lightweight, which flowed easily. She paired it with traditional pajamas. The outfit hugged her till her waist and also featured a draped cowl-like neckline. Her signature neutral toned heels and stunning diamond earrings, completed the Duchess’ simple yet sophisticated look.
Looking glamorous as ever in her classic blowout, Kate opted for well-defined eyes, filled-in brows, a flawless base of makeup and peachy lips.
Her outfit looked extremely similar to that of Princess Diana’s during the latter’s Pakistan visit back in 1996 who also wore a similar shade of blue during her visit to the country. The princesses go-to designer was also Katherine Walker, who created Kate’s simple but gorgeous outfit for her first appearance in the country.
