Amidst the makers of Stree 2 celebrating the 6th anniversary of the OG film Stree (2018), the sequel continues to rage a storm at the box office. After going below 10 crores on weekdays, collections are back on track, and how! Not only did the Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer regain its double-digit collections, but it did so with a bang. The movie is helmed by Amar Kaushik, and it also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee in key roles.
Stree 2’s day 17 collection
Stree 2 earned around 17.40 crores on its third Saturday. Yes, the Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer witnessed a humongous growth of 88.11% on its third Saturday (August 31) from Friday’s 9.25 crores. The total 17-day collection amounted to a whopping 480.25 crores at the Indian box office. So, the film has once again accelerated due to the weekend, and even the absence of major competitors is proving to be beneficial.
Set for a smashing entry into the 500 crore club!
With massive growth on the third Saturday, Stree 2 has a strong chance of entering the 500 crore club today itself. The film needs less than 20 crores to achieve the mega milestone, and if occupancy in the night shows stays strong, the feat will be accomplished today.

With its rapid progress at the box office, Stree 2 is all set to cross the 500 crores benchmark.
